BTW, if it can move 50mph using just the throttle, it does not meet the legal definition of an e-bike. It becomes an EV and falls under DOT and NHSTA regulations.

Unauthorized commercial advertising.
Someone who wants to spread the word about their product has to follow the rules here- and there is a fee of some kind to do so (I don't know the rates). Even sponsors and approved vendors are not permitted to openly promote (they may answer pointed, unsolicited questions in the appropriate area).
That's it in a nutshell .

1. How do you know it was doing 50 mph? You either had to have had a radar gun or been riding it at the time.
2. How do you know it was a Defkon? From the pictures I have seen of the various models, there is virtually no badging to identify as such.

Watch out that he doesn't try to be your "friend". Had (WHAT I THINK) is one of the Defcon boys try that yesterday. Probably would have attempted to get my email address, then sent a virus or something. However, these guys have tenacity; they keep trying to sell the product.
