Brainpower XLD Mystery Connector

I have a Brainpower XLD 1000W controller and cannot find what this black connector with gray/black wires does. The black/white combo are low brake power and while every other connector is called out, this is not shown in any diagram I can find. I would happily post a picture but this is my first post so I have 9 more to go.

Would anyone have any idea?

Unless already identified since frequently it's white, it could be the "self-coordinating" (there's a much better name which I can't remember) wire that insures the hall sensors on the motor are aligned properly. If DW responds, he'll know.

That self learning is a teal color. There are two connectors, one wire in each, that you connect to get it into self learning mode. I so wish I could post a link, it would make this so much easier, but that wire is correctly identified in the diagram in Ali Express. If you put the https and www in front of the link below it will take you to the controller to which I am referencing.

Looks like a connector to invoke regen braking on this model. Just make 8 more posts about ebikes. Then you can post a link.

This the connector in question...

"hi , friend This gray and black line are boost functions,Generally used for bicycles, man-in-band trolley,People don't need to force carts, and the car is automatically followed. If after the connection, it will automatically run at a speed of 6km / h.At this time, if the screw is removed, the speed is unrestricted, or can be reached 44,Do not have any effects without using this feature. This interface is such a boost function. You can also use this feature without affecting the use,"

Looks like I can just ignore it.

Still looks like a regen enable, but it don't matter. Make sure you power up with the Learn connectors connetcted. The motor will spin. Then you disconnect them and power down. The controller will have learned how you connected the motor wires and know how to run the motor the nex time you power up. The Learn connectors are then left taped or whatever.

To whomever PM'd me, the admin seems to have deleted the posts and brought me back to what will now be 5 so I will respond when I can get to 10 posts.

Admin, I get the need to reduce spam, it is real, but clearly I am posting core content so can you allow me to access the PMs, etc....

Well, you got your picture to stay. What display did you buy with it?

Too true. So this came with what I think is the LC830 or something similar. My bike has the LC900 with the control buttons on the bars. I'll try to keep the existing controller.

Here's the link... aliexpress.com/item/1005001408934846.html?spm=a2g0o.9042311.0.0.10554c4d9AA6ie
