Luna Fixed Stealth negative review on youtube
I've been looking hard at the Luna Fixed Stealth. For the price, it appears to be a great deal. A mid drive from bafang would be $800 with battery, a belt drive frame system is $600, and a nexus 3 wheelset is another $250-$300.
I think it would be a great winter weather bike.
But this guy has had a negative experience with the company.

I haven't watched through all the videos but he goes through two motors and in the end just parts the bike out.

So after watching this review, which is on the official channel, I think I'll skip. It is really close but the main point of an ebike for me is hill climb and I have some steep hills where I live.

A nuvinci-mid drive motor looks more and more enticing.

I think your choice to eschew Luna is very wise. The only bike that seems remotely worthwhile is their hub model which seems to be a re-branded item. I was a proponent, but not anymore. They used to supply batteries and even had those manufactured in house at one time. However, I purchased a 52V, 6ah one that had a short life span. Not surprisingly, they don't offer it anymore (nor any other batteries except those for SurRon.

Did you bother to note that the review is at least 2 years old? I saw it was all internal components, so I passed on it when I saw it. I honestly didn't trust it. Too good to be true usually is quite a disappointment when time has passed.
