NYC E Bikes
I’ve got this in the E-bike section as its more likely to be seen here. A friend of mine is opening up a New York themed shop in Tokyo, and wants some props to set up inside. One thing he really wants is an Arrow or Fly e-bike like the kind used by New York food delivery people. A beater bike is fine, so long as it is complete and operable, and it’s fine if it is wrapped with tape, or rubber or whatever. But it needs to be shipped to Tokyo. If anyone can help out, PM me. Payment would be via PayPal.

There are a few US military bases in Japan. Who knows? Your friend might get lucky. Check their web market

Do you need just a prop or a fully functional ebike with real battery & all the urban camo?

Optimistic, methinx.
It costs about $150 to ship a 20lb bike by freight (eg UPS) around here. That's about what I paid, one way, to send my own bike from NJ to Florida for a gig down there. Fully loaded cost.
Now, think: heavy heavy bike, a challenge to box up; cost of working bike itself; insurance definitely; paycheck for NY agent to effect this plan. Seems easier and more cost-effective to create a very good imposter bike locally.

Used pricing for functional Arrow or FLY ebikes are around $800-$1000, new ones cost about $1600-$1800.
Shipping cost to Japan, likely $200-$300, unless you're in the service and have items shipped to your base.
Maybe talk to your friend about his budget.
You can probably mock-up a used, regular bicycle to look like an Arrow or FLY ebike in Japan much cheaper.
I doubt folks in Japan would tell the difference from a used Arrow or FLY ebike.

$1k plus shipping is okay with him,

If you're looking for authenticity, you're going to get the actual milage that goes with it. I live in NYC, and these bikes are a delivery workers lifeline. You can't get more realistic than that I'm afraid. And $400 for that, considering your specific needs, is EXACTLY what you're looking for.
