Wtf

WTF a harley requires more work to achieve 50 Kph than a MTB requires to ride up a mountain. I supose that would explain the sleek physique of "bikies".
I suppose the other possibility is that you didn't read the post or you have never ridden a MTB up the side of a mountain.
I went from daily riding 1~1 1/2 hours on an un assisted bike to ridiing the electric assist and my body required a couple of weeks to adjust to the aerobic requirements to maintain these speeds in a hilly enviroment, as the speed is addictive and I tend to hammer down hill and up on this bike.
The pedals are driven with the motor and need ~105 rpm to run at rated power and 120 plus to achieve a high efficiency mode and at 50 kph you are taking a lot of load on your legs, check with a power required calculator for bikes there are plenty out there.
I know you shouldn't encourage trolls but what the hell.:o
Reminds me of a lycra clad roadie I blew past last week, hurt his pride so bad he almost commited suicide in heavy traffic to get past whilst I waited in line at a light.

I like it. Even replacing the batt is alot cheaper than three years worth of gas.

Imagine me passing three of them, with aero helmets on my bike, with my very non-aerodynamic upright sitting postur, everyday jeans and very fat tires. I swear to your diety, I think THEY GLARED AT ME and basically ignored me(I tried smilling at them)!!!! They then porceeded to show thier prowess by going 25 mph up a hill while I waited in line behind cars...because well, the traffic was heavy and I was being corteous and I do not like that intersection. Rest assured, I was back to navigating between cars and passing them at later intersections(the cars, not the roadies, they disappeared after the hill).
