Wtf
WTF a harley requires more work to achieve 50 Kph than a MTB requires to ride up a mountain. I supose that would explain the sleek physique of "bikies".
I suppose the other possibility is that you didn't read the post or you have never ridden a MTB up the side of a mountain.  I went from daily riding 1~1 1/2 hours on an un assisted bike to ridiing the electric assist and my body required a couple of weeks to adjust to the aerobic requirements to maintain these speeds in a hilly enviroment, as the speed is addictive and I tend to hammer down hill and up on this bike. The pedals are driven with the motor and need ~105 rpm to run at rated power and 120 plus to achieve a high efficiency mode and at 50 kph you are taking a lot of load on your legs, check with a power required calculator for bikes there are plenty out there. I know you shouldn't encourage trolls but what the hell.:o Reminds me of a lycra clad roadie I blew past last week, hurt his pride so bad he almost commited suicide in heavy traffic to get past whilst I waited in line at a light. |
I like it. Even replacing the batt is alot cheaper than three years worth of gas.
