Would this kind of fork be strong enough?

I found this website on one of my daily "bikes" through the web...this fork is truly made for torque...might even say it is a real torquey :) I am guessing there would be no problem popping a hub motor into this baby and letting it roar?

???

Hehehe...I keep hearing people say that putting a hub on the fork is not a good idea because it was not designed for this kind of stress. The link I put in the original posting is to a bike with front wheel drive, which has all the stress that a normal rear end of a bike would have, and then maybe some more. I am wondering if this fork is really "safe" to put a hub motor on?

Epic fail!

Try posting the link.

I'll guess you're reffering to http://www.cruzbike.com/
On power-assist I've read about people putting a hubmotor in the rear of these things with good results.

How about you try it and report back to us?!

Well that fork isn't just a fork. It is a triangle all to itself which makes it a whole different animal eh?
