Here is my first ebike build
Schwinn hybrid with sturmey archer drum brake wheels and a 450watt 48v brushed motor mid-drive and 48v 13.5ah battery

This is a Yamaha mid-drive, though compared to Bosch it's also very similar. Yes it does appear a bit safer than a BBSHD. Yamaha has an advantage of us being able to use third-party batteries because the Yamaha battery protocol has been reverse-engineered.
