buzz bar???
i have read a few post where guys have taken some solder off the buzz bar on the controllers to get some more amps flowing but no diagrams,what is this buzz bar they talk about?i need just a few more amps to flow

its called a shunt resister. you add a little solder to it to up the amps on the hubmotor. but if your not careful you can damage the fets in the controller under load.
as you can see in the pic i allready added solder to the end it works.

mmm ok thanks for that karma i just got my extra battery to up my currie a bit more,just gunna use an extra 6 volt lead acid in series with the 24 volts to make 30 volts,that should be just enough tourqe for the little hills i think i am not after a real fast bike just an increase of say 5 to ten percent more power,will post some pics and specs when i do some tests

that is good wire there a guy re-wired a little currie with that type and he said he go more torque plus more spped,he did say that he wound it much tighter than the factory wind,also that wire will take alot more heat as it is well insulated by the looks,normal winding wire just has an eneamel coating wich will melt off if gets too hot

mmm think i wont play with that shunt resistor after all as it is my understanding it is there to restric the current for a good reason and maybe that will put too much current through the controller and blow him
