US Pro-Drive (Currie)? Battery replacement/Tempest batteries
I got a currie/US Pro-Drive (I'm not really sure what to call it) from craigslist, and the batteries are on their way out. I know it's a somewhat older model, with the batteries mounted in the middle of the bike in a case attached to the frame. I went to a local electric bike shop, and he said new batteries were something like $97. Not the end of the world, but I found these tempest brand batteries for about half the price. https://www.tempestbatteries.com/html/tr12-12.html Has anybody used these, or know if they're decent quality? I imagine they can't be as good, but as long as the other ones aren't going to last twice as long, it seems worth it to me.
Also, the bike has two 12V 12aH batteries in it now, if I can find ones that fit, can I get for example two 12V 15aH batteries and increase my range without having to change anything else?
Thanks!

Yeah, they're not terribly expensive, and I figure still cheaper than gas, the bike was essentially $200, I traded a broken 2-stroke minibike for it.
What I'm most curious about is if I'd mess things up by getting a battery with more Ah...?
