Electric Bike Side Effects

One thing that happened to me, and I see it going on here at least in the form of upgrades for more power and distance. These ebikes are just so much fun that they leave you wanting more and more. To satisfy the urge for more, I ended up getting this Black Kawasaki Ninja 250. Great MPG, huge fun, tons of power, and I can still enjoy rides on my Ebikes in their stock condition. I really don't think I would have got the Ninja if it weren't for the Ebikes reminding me how much fun biking is. I still use the Ebikes just as much, the Ninja will take away some car usage.

Nice bike. I did pretty much the same thing. I have a couple of electric bikes, bought a gas powered bike, then moved up to motorcycle.

I was studying e-bikes when I saw a Craigslist ad for a motorcycle that had been dropped and would not start. I looked at it and before I could make an offer, the person selling it dropped the price to below that of any new e-bike. I took a chance, bought it, restored it and registered it at the DMV within 30 days. The problems were all minor, clogged petcock, metal fragments from the drop disabling the ignition pickup coil, and broken left handlebar.

It was the big brother to your bike, the Kawasaki Ninja 500R.

i wouldn't move up to a GAS motorcycle, or E motorcycle for as tempting as they might be...

because, the moment you move up to be part of the collective, traffic & transit laws applies :p

on a bike, you can ignore and not care about much of those "laws" ;)

i was very very tempted to get one of these :thumb:

OK, thats totally cool. Performance wise I think I can do better in terms of torque with what I'm planning but it'll still be on my mountain bike and won't have that finished look to it that makes this really appealing.
