does anyone know of a throttle control that isn't spring loaded or has some sort of cruise control on it. I find that i lose circulation in my hand if I have to hang onto the throttle.

My Harley had a thrumb screw on the throttle and it was possible to adjust the thumb screw so that the throttle would stay in any position that you left it in. Something like that for my ebike would be awesome!

My son has a thumb throttle that broke early in the game. At first he did not like it however he soon learned it was nicer not to have spring take it back to no throttle. I have heard of others that had a thumb throttle and they took the spring out.

There is a $10 motorcycle cruise control called "Crampbuster". It is a simple loop/paddle thing that slips over the throttle. The paddle part lets you rest your hand to control the throttle. Sounds more complicated than it is.

I haven't slipped it off my motorcycle to try it on the bike yet, but I might if anyone is interested in the results.

I've been doing the same with a plastic bracket from a blinky light.

it definitely solves 90% of my problem, but I still cant take my hand off the throttle or place my hand in a different place like on a climbing bar.

I use a "Crampbuster" from JCWhitney on my eZip. It's great!
