Can my kit use SLA batteries?

I bought one of those ebay bike kits (48V 1000W). Its a nice kit but there are so many wires and plugs together with this kit that I have no clue if I can use SLA batteries for it. (there are different connectors than my other kit--->) I also have a WE BL36 kit that works fine and it was much simpler to put together but when I received this kit it has tons of different wires. If anyone has this kit or something similar can you pleeeeaase give me instruction on how to connect 4 SLA 12V 12AH batts in series to my controller. Id appreciate any help and thanks.

P.s. I have pics but I dont know how to get them on here. I pressed the "add image" button but it said enter URL and i was like WTF?

Edit: I would have given the name of my ebike kit but its from china and its nameless. I got it from ebay and the add said "48V 1000W kit" or something like that. no instructions or anything. Lesson learned definitely. All i know is that my controller has a LOT of wires coming from it and i have no clue how to wire a battery to it.

Of course you can use SLA batteries. Just make a wiring harness out of AWG12 wire and 1/4" female quick connects and the complimentary battery connector.
There should be 4 thick wires coming out of the controller. Two are for the + and - to the motor and the other two are for the + and - to the battery. You will need a wiring diagram to figure it all out. If you set it up wrong you could fry the controller. Find the diagram. That is your only hope. If you have any problems, drop me an email. My contact info is on my webpage.

hi i have a 1000 watt 48v kit from ebay it came wired up. looking at your controller you should have 2 thick wires 1 red 1 black this goes to your batterys my has a standard kettle socket all the other wires should be self explanatory ie pick your throttle cable what colour wires how many ? match it up with correct socket from controller etc . to wire 4 12v in series start with batt 1 *** and join that to no 2 batt neg and so on you should then have a *** and neg both ends of the 4 batts to attach a lead and socket to join the one from controller. hope it helps regards rob.
