Help us rename this forum's description!

Some of us could use a little "assistance". Here's a place to discuss ebikes, from home grown to high-tech.

Assistance? there are already enough erectile dysfunction medication commercials that address this. Healthy bikers that have gone to the ebike side do not relate to this kind of description. We need a better description than this! Please post your ideas.

How about: "Come join us as the sparks fly in discussions of all things e-bike related. Not to limit anyone to one mode of motor power, all are invited to discuss other motorized bikes. Feel free to go into detail about your personally-designed, home-built motorized bike, your OEM e-bike, your e-bike conversion kit or your gasoline-powered conversion kit. Ask questions, post photos, share tips. Just because we have motors on our bikes doesn't mean we aren't cyclists too. We're just wise enough to know that a little help now and then is good."

How about call it "One Human, One Machine, + One Motor" ? Or "Powered by human with help by machine and motor?"

It's ironic that you brought up the topic. I just was looking at the description thinking that the quotes around assistance were a bit condescending. And I don't even have an ebike yet.

Knock off the first eight words. The rest is just fine.

"Here's a place to discuss ebikes, from home grown to high-tech."

Or, if you want it longer, how about, "A vehicle with bicycle efficiency, convenient power, and zero emissions."

Or some combination of those?

Just wipe out the first sentence as stated.

Probably shouldn't go with the zero emissions thing though as batteries charged off the grid are guilty of emissions to some degree. Disposal of spent batteries is also not exactly a green gimmie.

"No sweat, no strain, no hills!"

Or, variation of the current description:

"Discuss ebikes, from home grown to high-tech."

This got me thinking the really weird stuff:

"Holes & Charges!"
