Can anyone help me?

I just recently got an electric bike but the battery is completely dead. I also don't have the charger for it too. Are there any possible batteries or charger I can buy? Its a 6-DFM-12A battery. Any helps will be really appreciated. Thanks.

Images of the battery are uploaded below

hi you have got 12v lead acid batterys it looks like 3 ? =36volts. look on ebay or on line for a lead acid 36v charger. you probably wont find one with the same connection as the one your holding in pic so i would go for the sort with kettle socket and get a plug to match ebay? then connect 2 wires to the plug then connect the red and black to the same red and black as the socket in your pic thus you dont have to cut off the plug in pic. or until you get one any 12v car charger will be fine but you will have to charge them all individually probably about 2to 3hrs each batt from dead. hope this helps. cheers crimsonsnake

this is scooter rather than ebike.

But if you want to replace with lead acid B&B brand is the best hands down.
I have them on my Merida and tried other brands before.
I am using 12Ah 12V two in series.
You might have to replace your connectors with automotive spade quick disconnect connector, common in automotive shops.
You will need crimp tool.

You can use a standard 12v charger to charge these batteries. However, if there is more then one of the and they are wired in series they need to be charged one at a time. You don't need to discinnect them of remove them to be charged. But charge them one at a time and it will be fine. A lead or SLA battery should only be charged at a max of 1/4 the AH value of the battery. Yours are 12ah so do not exceed a 3a charge. When one battery is completely charged go on the the next.

Thanks for all the great replies guys. So I should be able to use any standard 12 volt charger to charge each battery individuality?

Correct you can use any 12v charger (designed for lead acid batteries). But you need to be sure the amp charge is less then 1/4 the AH rating of the battery. As I told you be sure if you have the batteries chain linked (series connected) only charge one at a time. However, if you make up what I call a run/charging plugs you could then charge all the batteries at one time with 1 charger. You can also charge all the batteries at one time with a single charger provided these batteries are not connected in series at the time of charging. Wit ha run/charge plug you can just disconnect one plug and insert another to go from run mode to charge mode. It takes me about 15 seconds to go from run to charging.

And the connector you have is weird, but you can just cut it off your existing dead batteries and add it to the new batteries, or just replace them all with some other connector. Your biggest thing to worry about is that your replacement batteries physically fit (get some that match the existing size as closely as possible without being bigger.)

Charging one battery at a time is just fine -- just make sure you never charge one or two batteries and not all of them before riding -- that's a good way to ruin the battery that wasn't charged. Either charge all batteries or no batteries.
