Aseako/Gette/Rmartin R10/Catic
Hello,
I am looking at an Aseako (http://www.aseakoelectricbike.com.au/) ebike, which appears to be much the same as the Rmartin R10 or Gette, and I understand is made by Catic in China. Does anyone have one of these and would care to offer an opinion? The price seems quite reasonable and it is crank-drive which is my preference. |
further to this, the same people seem to be making a slightly upmarket version with an internally geared hub and some better components (http://zocoelectricbike.com.au/index.html)

Good to know! I did see one report saying it was difficult to change gears while the hub was under load eg. going up a hill. Did you have that problem Alleng?
|
Shifting any gearing system under load is difficult and hard on the system. Plan ahead and you will be fine.

Yep, shifting any IGH under load is more difficult than shifting while coasting. Break stride, shift, start pedaling again. It just a moment to get used to it.
