Do middrive motors overheat? (Panasonic)
I'm loving my Focus Jarifa Speed, as I've posted here before. It has a midline Panasonic motor. I notice that in my last stretch on the long uphill way home, which is very steep, it feels like the motor 'catches' or hesitates a little sometimes. I don't know if it is because it overheats or what. I have theorized that it could be that that is where I start to get tired and so my pedaling cadence is not as consistent, but when I consciously try to maintain cadence that last stretch, it still happens.
Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Do middrive motors 'catch' sometimes on a long steep uphill?
