Below is a video from a few years ago, its an electric addon that helps you climb hills. I don't see it being for sale, but I feel it would be great to build something like that, I have a short ride to work that has some heels that can make you sweaty. Can anyone offer ideas, as to what parts I would need to put together such a contraption.

That is an R/C setup that uses a PCM brushless controller and an R/C motor. He is using a brushless outrunner motor something like this.

The OD of the motor is running on the tire. An interesting way to get the reduction required.

As he was flying an electric heli at the beginning of the video, he is probably also using LiPo batteries.
