Ezee conversion kit questions
 

I bought an Ezee bike conversion kit off craigslist. I did not get any instructions so I am not sure what the specs are. It was advertised as a 400 watt 36v with a 26" wheel setup. The charger that came with it is a 24v 7a Schauer which wouldn't match. The controller has Ezee in raised letters and part #9927-851-090 on a sticker on the case. The wheel has XTB26 with smaller writing 700cx28c/38cETRTO622x20.

Does anyone know what the controller specs are volts/amps etc and if there is a way to know what watt the motor is? I assume the wheel is actually a 700c rim which means I will need a new tire and tube.(bummer) I did a google search and can't seem to find anything useful. Ezee's website didn't shine any light on this critter either.

All I could find out on this is this:

The base eZee kit includes everything required to convert a bicycle to have electric assist, less the battery pack:

400 watt internally geared eZee brushless hub motor laced in a double walled rim
A 160mm disc rotor
Schwalbe Marathon puncture resistant tire and inner tube
Sealed 20 amp motor controller
Your choice of a thumb, twist, or half twist throttle
LED battery indicator,
An assortment of cable ties, spiral wrap, and a connector housing, for tidy wiring
There are then three battery options to choose from depending on your range and speed requirements, all of which come in the same low profile case with a locking ON/OFF key switch and a selection of mounting hardware

Looks like it was made in 2007 to now. The newer controller will take 24v to 48v. But could not find any thing on yours. Hope this helps a little. Do you know what year it was bought?

Thanks for looking it up. Unfortunately I don't have any other information on this kit. It does not have a tire or tube on the rim or the rotor. It does work on 24v SLA's on the bench but I haven't done anything else till I know for sure what these components are. Don't want to let any magic smoke out. It does have a twist throttle and an LED battery indicator and the a battery/controller bag with the Ezee name on it. The hub motor is geared but has no identifying marks on the outside.

I found the sales pitch information you listed above but couldn't find that part number or exact picture of these components. Due to the fact that most of the sellers info has been incorrect so far I want to verify the bits. Hope some one here has the same kit or better google-fu than I do.
