Tadpole electric motor

Can anyone recommend a good motor for the Sun EZ Tadpole ? It's for my dad's bike,he's 91 and can't pedal too much longer. He'll be using it exclusively on a railroad grade type of trail. His budget is around $700 tops. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated !

I'm using a 500W Crystalyte front hub in the wheel of my BOB trailer with a 36V Lit-Ion battery (about 8lbs). The BOB (yak) is a single wheel light weight trailer and the wheel is just 16"dia.
I bought all my components new and had an Ebike shop build it, so if these parts were bought used and installed by you the cost could be much less. I paid $1200CND and the cost of the battery was the most expensive at $635Cnd.
My experiance with my E-BOB has been most rewarding while touring, I ride a Catrike Trail as well. The reasoning for making the E-BOB was that I could unhook the trailer and ride the trike light. Also consider if the battery quits on a ride you have all that extra weight to push up hill.
