Tandem plus Trailer with hub motor

I'd like to make the cargo trailer seem a little lighter, and my stoker wife seem like a stronger rider. So, the electric hub seems like a good idea. But where? On a Burley Cargo trailer? Rear or front wheel? If Burley trailer wheel mounts same as bicycle, the loaded trailer will help push its own weight, while keeping the tandem light and not complicated. Please offer your thoughts and experience.
