Cruiser handlebars on Currie IZIP Zuma - Question

I'm leaning heavily towards getting the Currie iZIP Zuma. It seems it will meet my needs, however, I'm not sure I prefer the wide cruiser handlebars for the narrow city streets , riding along side cars, pushing the bike through doorways, tight spaces, etc. When riding, I would rather have my hands tucked in and protected.

Should I look for a bike with different bars such as MTB (What other bikes with 500W motors are available in this price range?) or should I go with the Zuma and change the bars, if I still feel I need to. Is it doable on this bike?

Or is this not really much of any issue for those of you who own the IZIP Zuma or Pedego bikes?

I am a bit of a noob at bicycles.

I have a Zuma and a Trek 7300. The Zuma bars are about 3-4 inches wider than the Trek. I like the wider bars myself, I feel it is more stable. I also really enjoy the Zuma. I ride it several times a week. I am at the point where I only use the assist when I need it, ie going up steep hills or against a strong headwind. the only downfall is that you can't use the assist on wet pavement or if you get caught in the rain. I just shut off the electric, ride it home and let it dry out. It is also too heavy for typical bike racks.
