Online calculator

Is there an online calculator into which one could enter battery data, motor draw, rider weight, grade of hill, speed, etc., and estimate endurance in miles or km?

Estimated endurance?

Maximum distance attainable at a particular speed. In particular, I would like to be able to input the speed and return max distance.

Did you check out the link?

The question you ask isn't very easily answerable, at least not accurately. We calculate watt hours per mile, but really this is an average that changes with many variables. Something as simple as the wind can have a very large impact on watt hours used per mile.

Yes, I did check the link you sent, and it is very useful. Thank you.

I recognize that the question is difficult and answers will be imprecise. I'm just trying to get ball park figures that I can use to answer other questions, such as "should I carry another battery?"

Thank you for your help.

that link is insanely precise and accurate (yes, both!). Lots of variables to play with if you choose, can compare two configurations on top of each other and really learn a lot about what your system is doing.

Its based off of destructive testing of motors, so its not just hypothetical information.

Thanks for the information. I'll continue to explore it.
