Alfine Di2 WITHOUT Display Unit? ... With SM-EW90 Junction Box Instead?
 

Good Morning!


I am building an Alfine 11 Di2 commuter bike, and I was wondering;

Can I use the SM-EW90 A Junction Box to connect everything? This way, I also wouldn't need the B Junction box...

Since the SM-EW90 A Junction Box has three ports, they would go;
1. To the hub
2. To the shifter
3. To the battery

Is this possible? I really don't want/need the Alfine display as it (a) uses more battery, (b) is more expensive, and (c) is a theft magnet!
