Calibrating a Powertap SL+ with a Garmin Edge 705

I have an older Garmin Edge 705 as well as an older Powertap SL+ hub and recently replaced the batteries in the hub. I'm now seeing a nonzero reading when coasting without pedaling -- about 7W. I understand that the SL+ can be calibrated/compensated via the Powertap head unit but I do not have the Powertap head unit, just the Edge 705. The documentation for the Edge 705 seems to indicate the SL+ can be calibrated but that you need to use the procedure provided by Powertap but I can find no such procedure.

So, how to do this?

Here's a link to the User Manual. There's a section for PM calibration.

That may or may not help you. But with the Edge 500 and 800 you just select the "CALIBRATE" option while coasting and it should report that calibration was successful.
