Has anyone used the Terrano-x device that allow you to communicate with other riders?

The BK-1 product line has been acquired by Terrano, LCC. and will from now on be marketed under the Terrano-X label
I just didn't find a strong enough use case to pull the trigger, given the cost. But I did learn about the Cardo system from BikeForums.

i have been using the bk 1 which is the same thing and its a great product. You can receive phone calls with voice activation
and listen to podcasts or music without having anything in your ear to block noises

The intercom feature is good if you are close but i find that i just keep open communication with the cell phone as I have unlimited minutes.
can also make calls with siri by just pushing a button on the unit

My wife and I do leisurely riding and have enjoyed having this system. It works as advertised and is relatively easy to install. Once installed on the helmet you won't know it is there, except you will suddenly be able to have conversations and point out items of interest, etc, even if hundreds of feet apart. The range is not great beyond about 200 yds but why would you be riding that far apart anyway?
You can answer your phone, you can also play music from your phone and both riders will hear it. The system has enhanced our riding experience.
