Anybody using the Huawei watch?

It's a pricey gadget that can track rides and has an integrated heart rate monitor, surely somebody in here has one.

I got my girlfriend a Huawei watch for her birthday. She loves it. But she wants to use it to track elliptical workouts, and can't figure out how to make it record her heart rate during the workout. The watch is set up to use Google Fit for exercise tracking, couldn't get that to work with the HRM, so she tried Strava and one of the Underarmor apps. No luck.

It has an app that tells you your HR when you ask, but it just takes a single reading. She wants a graph of HR over the whole workout, like on Garmin Connect and Strava.

Does anybody know how to do this?

As far as I've been able to tell, this isn't possible right now with Android Wear. Even though the watch has an HRM built into it. Disappointing. Probably should have gone with a Garmin. We're going to see if the watch will pair to a BT chest strap or if the phone can relay the HR data to the watch. Will report back.

Bought a Polar H7 strap this weekend. It pairs with the phone, and Endomondo runs on the phone but also displays on the watch.

I'm still shocked and disappointed that Android Wear can't use the HRM built into the watch to track exercise.
