Putting Lights on Kids Bikes

OK, the grand-kids are only 9 & 12 and just ride around the neighborhood at sundown. I got some budget lights with rubber like cases that rap around a tube (so no metal hardware is needed). But there are no horizontal or vertical tubes on a little kid's bike. Are there any easy solutions?
