Garmin Edge 25 reason to get one?
 

I am about to get the Garmin Edge 25.

My reason to get it: another way to look at my exercise from a different angle

I carry two phones with me on my saddle bag and I always have Runtastic Bike Pro and either Strave or MapMyRide (just for fun). I can hear my ride summary thru the phone audio at every mile.

Is there a reason to get the Edge 25?

If you are running two phones tracking the same data, what could you possibly want to track that isn't already being tracked? If you use the phones, you really don't need the Edge 25 but if you decide to get it, you really don't need the phones. I think that at times, we tend to get a bit carried away with tracking stuff that we never use or just don't need.

The Edge 25 will likely have a longer battery life but aside from that I dunno. I have an older Garmin Edge 200 that I use and some days I wonder why I even use it. I leave my phone in the seat bag.
