GoPro clones

Specifically, has anybody tried this one? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GE99L0K/

Just wondering how the actual results from it look.

Had a Hero HD, and broke a couple of mounts and a case for it. If the camera ends up skidding down the road, I'd feel a lot better about it being $50 than $300+.

I would only try a xaomi yi or gitup git2.

A big problem with generic cameras is that quality control is very consistent. One person may be happy with his camera, but another person has huge problems with the same model. Of course, customer service is non-existent as well.

The best GoPro clone is the SJCam series. Make sure it's genuine - it must have the SJCam logo on the front.

It's the only clone good enough that they've made knock offs of the knock off.

SJCam is consistent AND has good customer service. They even listen to their customers - they've added new features by customer request in the past.

+1 for the SJCam. I've used the SJ4000 camera, and found it very comparable the Hero4 Silver I was using at the time.

Xaomi Yi is awesome. I have one and bought the $19 accessories pack and we use it all the time. Was less than a $150 investment total for everything when I bought it (I also bought a battery charging bank and 2 extra batteries).

Check out the Polaroid CUBE and CUBE+. Mounting seems a bit more secure than the GoPro's.

I bought this from Monoprice, it doesn't have as good of image stabilization but it does good enough to be used as the rear camera.

I guess I can't post URLs, it's the MHD 2.0 from Monoprice.com

Neither of the polaroid cube videos states you used the plus version.
