How about a Light & Motion Urban 800 Fast Charge for $79?
This is an amazing price for a high-end light. I paid $140 when it first came out. -Tim- There are 2 colors of the 650 model on Amazon for $60, was also considering that one. Am wondering if it is worth the extra money for the lumens, although the fast charge is nice feature. |
I realized I forgot to answer the question earlier. I have 4 forward facing lights that I've acquired over the years, and usually only use 2 or 3. I use a magacshine with a wide angle lens on the handlebar with a Ultrafire 501B I shouldn't have bought as a spare that I rarely use. It's my backup light, and I fugure the best place for it is in the mount on the handlebars. On my helmet I use a Vis 360 day and night, and a C8 I use after dark.
They all flash at different rates too. Once I was first in line waiting for a train to unload passengers and turned them all to flash at the same time to see how the lights would look reflecting off the reflective material on the crossing gate arms. It was pretty interesting. |

That's a great price, but I need to add $21 for free shipping else it's additional $7.40.

Charge from completely empty to full is about 3 hours if you have a high amperage charger. A USB port on the computer will take longer. I'm seeing similar prices elsewhere around the internet so shop it before you order. Prices seemed to have dropped on the previous generation models as the 900/1000 lumen models are now shipping. -Tim- |
On my hybrid I use two lights up front, the second light isn't necessarily a spare but could be I guess, for day time riding I have the Bontrager Ion 100R in service and at night I switch to my Bontrager Ion 800R......my road bike has just one light up front, the Bontrager 100R, I rarely ride this bike at night but on occasion my ride time has extended into darker hours and the 100R has performed the task.

I love the Zebralight offerings, especially in neutral. I use the SC62w for my handlebar light.

What are you using to mount your Zebralight
For your intended use based on your other thread I would think you would like a Zebralight headlamp. |
