Polar vs ANT+

I have a few bikes. one bike doesn't have any transmitter on it, but that's not important right now.

My Trek Domane has a Polar cadence transmitter and I ride this bike quite a bit. I also use a polar heart rate straps and use a Polar wrist monotr to capture data.

My other bike is a Giant Defy advanced 2. it has a ANT+ monitor to measure cadence and speed.

I know Polar is not ANT+ compliant.

I'm also not a big fan of some of the smart apps designed for ANT+. I hope some of you can help me out. What isa good monitor for the giant bike that is also easily uploadable (?) to Polar sites.

thanks

Only Polar devices will upload to flow.polar.com. If you want to upload to Flow then you need a Polar device.

All manufacturers including Garmin are the same way. Each manufacturer's website only works with their own devices.

Lots of people, myself included, are using Wahoo RPM speed and cadence sensors. They do both ANT+ and Bluetooth and so work with just about any head unit.

I get around this online using https://tapiriik.com/# but unfortunately it does not sync to Polar so not helpful for the OP.
