thanks for sharing! looks like a fair amount of work putting it together! that 1st one looks attractive but Amazon says it's unavailable.

It is too bad that integrating spheres are so expensive, because the geek in me wants to do a Lord Kelvin on the advertised luminous flux ratings and put some measurement reality into the mix.

Number 5 on the list is factually incorrect when it comes to the battery size which is listed as 2500 mAh when it is really less than half that capacity. I have been endlessly critical of bike light sellers who refuse to reveal the LED used and the battery size. That includes a lot of the more expensive light companies.
I was given a Blitzu Gator 320 for Christmas and I looked all over and didn't find the battery size so I opened up the light and looked. Here is a picture showing both the headlight and tail light that comes in the package. The battery in the headlight is 1200 mAh and also notice the Raypal name on the battery. It is a good clue to who made the light. The tail light has two rechargeable button cells for a total of 40 mAh. The set goes for $24 on Amazon but you can buy the identical light without the Blitzu name for around $15 on eBay and on Amazon too. Look at the Aduro Sport LED Bike light kit for $15 on Amazon and tell me the difference.
I really didn't care about voiding the warranty as I figured I would never use this light anyway. It pales in comparison to a simple CREE XML-T6 flashlight that is far brighter, can be focused, and snaps on and off in and instant. I know Raypal made the Blitzu Cyborg 120T tail light as I have several identical to it that came in a box with Raypal-2266 on it. It has a 500 mAh battery inside and it says so right on the package. I paid a tad over $4 for mine.
