Garmin sensor batteries when replace ?

I got a warning that the speed sensor battery is getting low.
CR2032
Same age as cadence & HRate sensors
Should I replace all 3 now?
Or
Do they last longer on the other sensors?(cadenc & HR)

I get the warning every ride. 30%. 50%. Sometimes it matches the phases of the moon or the current mortgage interest rates.

I've resolved to ignore the warnings and change sensor batteries when I change the batteries in my smoke detectors.

What sensor?

My Vectors are the only sensor I have that warn me about a low battery, then I have about 10 to 15 hours of ride time. My HRM (chest strap) needs a new battery once a year or so.

Varies by model. My VDO bike computer, the computer only lasts half as long as my speed and cadance sensors. My heart rate chest band batteries usually last for years.

I replace the batteries when they go out. Exception, on the one bike where I have a cadence sensor, I assume that sensor will use power as fast as the speed sensor so when one of those two go, I replace them both.

I usually buy CR2032 batteries in batches, store the extras in the fridge. So, when one goes, I already have the replacement for it.

Order a 5 pack of 3032 from Amazon. I've had mixed experience with the batteries in my garmin devices: HRM, speed sensor, cadence sensor. Wrap a couple of 3032s in paper (to prevent from shorting them out) and stick them in your seat pack. I had a cadence sensor last for a month after it started warning of low battery and a speed sensor that lasted two days.

I can usually get 9-12 months but get a bad one now and then that only make in weeks sometimes Its hit or miss but I learned to get my batteries at my local drug store. they are a bit higher but they go through more there and have a "fresher" inventory.

Thanks

Good point to get them from a place that has fresh inventory

Good tip;
Got 2 packs of 2 batts, gonna cut one pack in half,
Leave in the indestructible plastic package, put in saddlebag

Shet!!!! One pack is a CR2025".......... Son of a bit!*%
