Bluetooth Data from Garmin Vector 3 Pedals?

Can anyone confirm that the Garmin Vector 3 power meter pedals will send power data over Bluetooth to the Cyclemeter app running on an iPhone (no ANT+ capability)?

Looking at old reviews of the Vector pedals, it seems like at one time they only used Bluetooth for firmware updates and not for power data, but some newer reviews make it sound like they've been updated to be able to use Bluetooth for data as well.

I know that Bluetooth doesn't give you as much data as ANT+, but as long as I can get left/right/total power, that's enough.

Thanks!

Don't know the answer to what info difference you might have from ant+ vs Bluetooth, but you can get a ant+ dongle and an adapter to make it fit your iPhone if you don't get the data you are after with just Bluetooth. Or just get a Garmin or other device that handles ant+

I really wouldn't like a dongle hanging out of my phone to be lost. But it's an option.

Thanks - I found another review that confirms that they'll at least send individual and combined power over Bluetooth now. Not using ANT+ will cost me some data like "torque effectiveness," "pedal smoothness," "platform center offset" and seated vs. standing time. But I don't feel like messing with dongles either, and I think that the data I'll get over Bluetooth will be sufficient.
