Garmin Forerunner 745 - music controls screen
I know this is not a running forum but I am on here so what the heck. Here goes.
When I run with my Garmin 745 I listen to music. So adjust the music I need to have the music screen up on my watch, hold in the lower button to bring up the options screen and select 'music controls'. I am then able to change volume, skip forward or backwards a track, etc.
If I don't do anything for X amount of time, the screen reverts back to the music screen and I have to go through the process all over again. Anyone know if it is possible to keep the 745 on the screen that controls the music?
Thank you.

I have a 935, so I'm not sure if this will apply to the 745, but maybe add music control as a data screen to your activity instead?

Fenix 6X.
If I go into the music controls from the hot key, it will "time out" and go back to what it was doing after a while. But if I go in through that menu in the shape of a circle, it stays until I dismiss it.

do these things stream music, or are you just using it to control your phone?

I think you need the newest cellular watches to stream music without your phone. I can put music on my watch and play it without the phone, but then it needs the files, it can't just play me any music that exists.

Okay, so some garmin watches will store music. Not sure what to think about that. It might be useful when I'm mowing the lawn

Well I still can't get my 745 to stay on the music screen. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to live with it. Or without it as the case may be.
