Di2 Hood Buttons & Missing Info Screens
I have an Ultegra R8050 based Di2 that also includes the wireless D-Fly component. Up to recently, the hood buttons worked as intended, allowing me to display various info screens on my Garmin Edge 1030 Plus, such as my profile data screen, two map/GPS screens, the current config of the Di2 system, etc.. I was able to page thru these screens in either direction depending on which hood button was being pressed.
During my last two rides, the only screens that display are the data screen from my profile snd a screen that looks like one that displays info from a power meter, which I do not have on my bike. While both buttons still work as before, allowing me to display either of the 2 screens, I no longer see the other screens that used to be available.
I do not remember doing anything that would have changed what I was able to see previously, that is now no longer visible to me, nor do I know whether the problem is caused by Di2, my Edge 1030 Plus. Any thoughts?

Which screens show up and in what order are controlled by your device settings. So look in your 1030's setting for that profile you are using.
It's always possible that you accidentally changed them or even that an update to the device changed it unintentionally.

Can you manually scroll from screen to screen on your 1030+? If not, you may have somehow disabled the screen(s). I don't see how the Di2 buttons would affect it otherwise, but then again, you never know with electronics. Right now I'm cursing at a GoPro remote that will tell both cameras on my bike to start/stop recording. They pair and work perfectly at my desk, but as soon as I put them on the bike, they seem to lose pairing. I blame the carbon fiber.

I went to the profile settings and saw one thing that may have caused the navigation map to disappear. In the setting, the Ride Type was set to "Indoor" rather than "Road". I changed it to "Road" and will see on my next ride if that changes things. Thanks!

I took a very quick ride through the neighborhood and the change I made, from Indoor to Road for the Ride Type, seemed to resolve the problem..... Not sure how that setting got changed, but I will blame myself!

You can change up those profiles too for what screens they do or don't show and what order they are seen in. Also a lot of other things.
If you have multiple bikes you might want to create a profile for each bike.

Different profiles can display different screens. (Many people would find the map screen not very useful indoors.)
It's very easy to change this inadvertently (one reason to use a different color for the different profiles). If you tap the screen a bit to the right or left of the profile name in the home page, it will change the profile.

I do have 2 profiles. One for my road bike and another for the bike permanently mounted on my trainer. Where do I have to go to change the order that the screens are displayed in each profile?

Select (horizontal bars) > Activity Profiles
And you can customize your screens and add new profiles too!
I think I have about six profiles on my Garmin:
Training with Segments
Training no Segments
Indoor
Courses (specifically to follow long courses)
Race
JRA (Time, distance, speed only)
And you can customize your screens and add new profiles too!
