why? I have not found any problems really. this last update took care of most of my issues. the thing I miss is the sleep mode garmin will go into after you pause a ride. its not perfect but neither is garmin. Plus things are added all the time. gamins updates are long between and and a lit more Hasse to do.

They update but I've not really found anything really useful,. Climber is fun but as I live where it's as flat as Florida, not used much. I'm still waiting for Return to Start - Follow Existing Track, as well as Trail Forks integration. The last is a killer for a lot of Mt. Bikers who really want what Garmin can do. As well, battery life is meh. I'm doing the Bon Ton Roulet 7 day ride this summer and will take my Garmin.

yes but I bet it will happen. I have not seen much of any improvements on my gamins in a year. my export has the same bugs for a year. I only used navigated for the first time and it seemed fine. I have it built into my bike computer so its not as big of a deal. I mean I would not have bought it if I hadn't to screwed up my garmin. but for 400.00 you get a lot compared to a garmin.

It's a great unit, better than an Edge 830 for the same price. I just find the Garmin does what I need, so use that for now. I keep the K2 for if the 1030 ever dies.

exactly. if you have a good garmin then no but as a first computer man it blows away the garmin in practicality and ease of use. I had it set in a few minutes once it updated. I did not really need much instructions it flowed pretty well. they fixed the garmin radar light and that's the main thing. now they just need a sleep mode.

I moved across town a while ago, and I've learned my way around but still haven't figured all the details out. I've been thinking since last fall that I should have maps on my stem. It really seems like the K2 is the most compelling thing out there for that purpose.
