Garmin Edge 130 Plus how to set the time?
I've bought a Garmin Edge 130 Plus, it doesn't seem possible for the user to change the time?
I can change between 12 and 24 hour formats by going into System -> Time, however, there's no way to change the date or time there. How do I actually set the date and time manually?

Don't know about the 130, but I seem to recall a setting in one GPS to display a specified time zone. Does the 130 have something like this, and does yours have the wrong time zone spec'ed?

From the Edge 130 manual.....

If your time is wrong, then it might be the device needs updating if you just got this and haven't let it do any updates yet.
The device may need a clear view of the sky to acquire satellite signals. The time and date are set automatically based on the GPS position. TIP: For more information about GPS, go to www.garmin.com/aboutGPS.

The way GPS works is the satellites fly in a known formation, and broadcast a very accurate time of day. Your receiver (Edge 130, watch, phone, whatever) tracks multiple satellites and does a lot of math to figure out how far away each one is by the amount of time it took the signal to arrive. A side effect of this process is that your GPS knows exactly what time it is.
That's why just going outside and getting a fix will set the time.
