Real time GPS tracker by GSM (cell signal)
Does anyone have experience with a GPS tracker device? Not the Airtag or Smarttag type.
I am looking for a real gps tracker via Sim card or eSim. I saw both of these below and I would like to know what you think of them:
Hoot-bike: Hoot 500 or Hoot-800
Invoxia
this one does work in US/Canada (I asked):Bike finder
Other brand?

Garmin Edge cycling computers as well as the watches (Instinct) can do real time position tracking. They require the Garmin Connect Mobile app on a smartphone as well as cell data to share the position data, known as Live Track. I use this all the time, sending a track via e-mail to my wife so she knows my location.

Could be useful, but on a trip, I always take off my Garmin Edge 830 when I do shopping or leave my bike. I put it in my handlebar bag which never leaves me. So not practical if my bike gets stolen.
