The gray is a PVC fitting out of the electrical department. The white is just a PVC cap out of plumbing, which I drilled and fitted a rubber grommet into for the cord. I did have to do some filing to get the cap to fit inside the front - and then add a couple screws because the fit wasn't exact. Not so with my new one though. I found a couple new pieces in plumbing which are heavier duty and press right together for a perfect fit without fasteners. Yea... version 4.

The housing from those fog lights from JC Whittney are looking better all the time. I definitely could have saved money buying one of those at the start. But I'm too comitted to cut and run now. The good news is, that as long as I'm riding down the road at anything above a walking pace, the temperature never approaches the critical leavel it does when the bike is parked. So I'm really not concerned about a melt-down.

You might also want to consider the Pond Scum
light. I just ordered a set of the Optronics lamps. We'll see how it goes.
