How to power a 12vdc light?
For tail light, I'm looking to install an amber xenon strobe as a taillight but have no idea where to start looking for power sources. Or should I stick with a red blinky like the Planetbike stuff?

I have two LED Whelen TIR3 lights powered by a cordless drill battery. One is amber the other is Red. One of the local cops asked me about my lights and I told him, I don't have to go with low bid like you do. I have been powering my Home built halogen lights and this lighting system for over 10 years with cordless drill batteries.
