anyone seen purple lights for your bike?
 
was questioned about this but couldnt find anything anywhere. BF is the best place to come to ask when my regular leads dry up (nashbar, performance, etc etc)

Ten+ years ago I had a neon belt light in blue-purple. About $10-12. Meant for bikes. A 4 by 5 rectangle. If you get the lights shown mount them sideways or to the rear, not down for more light getting out there. And avoid anything like blue, the cops do not like us using blue.

I saw the great down low glow light on the bike path a month ago. That light is extremely noticeable. They are pricey, though.

Get a cold cathode ray tube at an electronics store or where they customize computers. They come in an assortment of colors including ultraviolet in sizes from 3" to 12".

think iwill try and find some purple tape and stick it over a white light.
