18650 battery source??
Where might be a good source for quality, name brand 18650 round flashlight batteries. Ordered a light with the Cree Q5 which uses an 18650 battery, and while they may be ordered overseas, seems it is hit or miss on the quality. Suggestions?

I would go to candlepowerforum.com and do a search. They have so many good reviews on that forum.

And be sure to use protected 18650 batteries. These have a small circuit board added that prevents overcharging and protects against short circuits so that you don't burn down the house. |
Stay away from dealextreme horrible service and they take for ever!
Lighthound usually ships same day and you won't find a better li-ion 18650. http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?...OD&ProdID=1305 http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?...OD&ProdID=2566 This will work too. http://www.batteryjunction.com/ultrafire-18650.html . |
