Electronic speedometers suggestions?

Hi. I'm new here. Got an old Schwinn tri-wheeler. Trying to track down a decent speedometer to use for my trike. I keep finding the same old cheap POS on ebay and stuff. Any suggestions other than these?

You just want a speedometer, not something period to match the bike? Just about any of the digital spedos will work. Mount the sensor on the fork and the magnet on the spoke, wired or wireless the receiver on the handle bar should just work fine. You can get a low cost one for around $10 US.

If you are looking for a bicycle (recumbent, trike, road, mtb etc) you probably want to search for cyclocomputer
You should get alot more options.

Go to nashbar.com or performancebike.com and peruse the cyclocomputer selections.

Thanks for these replies. It's just that I was looking for a simple speedometer and not something like bike computer to calculate calorie burning, etc. Just need something that will simply give me the speed I'm going and maybe the time? Actually, what would be nice is something that has these 3 functions: speed, time/date, AM/FM radio. im just searching around hoping I can find something simpler than what i have found out there.

Thanks again.

Looks good. Have you used this at night? I know it's an LCD screen, just wondering if you find it to read. I figure I'm just going to be using some sort of illumination anyways, but I thought I'd ask.

I use a Cateye Enduro 8 on my '07 Town & Country (which is [Pacific] Schwinn's high end Trike) usually the Enduros can be had for around $30 - $40.

I have a couple of the Schwinn cyclometers from Wal-Mart, too. For less than $3 at Wal-Mart you can get a one cell LED pencil light with a pocket clip on it. I slide one of these onto the visor of my helmet so it points where my head points. I can look down and read the cyclometer anytime I want. The light also helps you to be seen better.
