Overwhelmed by light choices for night riding
I ride both a road bike and mt bike. I want to participate in night rides. My dilemma....
I want dual lighting for my mt bike, because I will be riding in dense wooded areas on FL trails, so I thought I would go for the NiteRider MiNewt.X2 Dual and then use one of the lamps on my road bike. I just learned that they are made where they do not separate. So, there goes my plan to use one of the lamps on my road bike as needed. I really dont want dual lamps on my road bike. So now I guess I am stuck making two light purchases. Any advice on two affordable single lamps or any other suggestions for this scenario. thanks in advance!! |
If you are on a budget, check out the "best lights for less than $50" thread. Short story: Best bet is to get two high-powered LED flashlights from dealexteme.com along with two mounts...you can use the dual lights on either bike, and the whole setup will be about 50 bucks (plus a little more for rechargable batteries/charger). Search the forum there are lots of recent good threads.

The Dinotte 200L duel system comes with both solo cord and duel cord. You can run it any way you want.
