I'm diggin' the b-spoke 1/2 watt rear...and wondering if there is any way to adapt it to my Planet Bike 3H helmet mount...that would be sweet.

Back to the hemet mount.
I googled the PB3H, and from what I can see (correct me if I am wrong) there are a couple of recesses, one in each end, from which it is suspended and a weight at the bottom. Soooooo...... I got thinking. I don't know about width, but if this is wide enough, without being too wide, fit a couple of 90deg angle joiners to it can suspend, and wrap a bit of lead or something round the bottom. Maybe you can come up with a better idea, but it is a thought ;) |

As highly unlikely as it sounds, I was just hoping that the width would be the same for both, so all I had to do was drill some holes and snap it into place...like I could get that lucky:D...anything harder than that, and I'd just go ahead and fabricate a whole new mount. |
the only problem I see with drilling holes is water resistance. Also the Bspoke seems to be more rounded. With two batteries, it is likely to be pretty balanced, necessitating an extra weight at the bottom to prevent it laying on its back.

Yup, that is the Smart offering. Good find.
However All Terrain Cycles have it for £11.70, and the B-spoke for £12.67. Still not as cheap as eBay though. |
I use the Planet SF and the Smart SF.

I think this may just be the difference in models, as we have discussed earlier in this thread, there appear to be TWO Smart Superflashes on sale in the UK, one with the SuperFlash similar to that of the Bspoke, and one with a much slower flash of the nichia, but still out of sync with the other 2 LED's.
When I get time, I will try an locate one of each in the LBS's and post them so tyou know what I mean. |
The one with the Slower flash would be like the Planet Bike Super Flash
