Looking for Computer

So I'm looking for a bike computer. I'd like one that will measure cadence. Suggestions of what your preferred bike computer is appreciated. Also... is wireless worth the price? Is it only a matter of looks? Or can the wires cause more malfunctions?

Thanks

I bought wired and am glad I did, having read threads about interference that can be caused by other equipment. Mine doesn't have cadence so I can't give you any specific model recommendations. I'm sure others will weigh in on models they like that can measure cadence.

Hmmm... I didn't even stop to think about shortcomings of wireless. Thanks for the headsup, didn't even think about the possibility of interference.

LACK of wires causes problems. Wired will just always work. Wireless is subject to interference from lights and other things, and uses far more than twice the batteries. It is only for looks.

The Sigma 1606L is good, does cadence, and I picked one up on eBay new for about $25. For those who don't need cadence, the Planet Bike Proteges are nice, I have a Protege 9.0. Displays almost everything on one screen and you can switch modes if you like with gloves on.
