Wireless computers and sensor interchangeability
I have three wireless computers. Their sensors seem to be interchangeable. I other words, if I put computer A near the sensor for computer B, and pass a magnet by the sensor, computer A displays a speed.
Can the sensor from one wireless computer make another one work? I have a third computer that sucks. But the sensor might work with the other ones. I have a bike that sometimes needs a computer on it. Long story short, I have a practical reason for asking this question. |
Try it.
If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't. |
But it won't hurt the computers?

You could just be receiving interference because of the proximity of the unit and sensor while you are testing. To test that it is working properly you would have to install the computer and sensors in their proper positions and compare the results over a known distance. Why don't you specify the computer brand and model sensor combinations you want to use instead of calling them A and B. Maybe someone has some experience but does not want to play 20 questions with you finding out the computers you have. |
