The Ripxx GPS Device
I recently learned of this GPS device as it was being used to train BMX racers. I was asked to test the product and write a review.
In summary: The Ripxx uses gyros as well as GPS to determine not only speed, distance, location and climb but also acceleration, braking, pedal cadence and air time. It has 80 hours worth of memory, almost unlimited splits, free software and they are constantly upgrading it. It has twice the capabilities of a normal GPS at half the cost.
Now my testing abilities and technological knowledge are very limited so I wanted to know if anyone else has used this device? Are there any glitches? Does it have more abilities than I was able to uncover in my short test?
My article can be read at Product Review: Ripxx GPS Device.
