I just got an Edge 205.

First, I would like the total miles to start where my last cyclocomputer left off. Is there any way to set a starting point?

Second, sometimes I will use the edge to measure the distance of a running course or hike. Is there any way to delete that session or exclude it from the total odometer miles?

Thanks. Unfortunately, because Garmin breaks their forums up by the exact model, there aren't many people viewing the threads. To give you an idea, the four most recent threads are from August, October, and two in November.

Yes, you choose History/Totals, or you can view it on Garmin Connect web page.

You can go to the history page and delete individual trips if you want to exclude them. You can also change the activity type to something other than biking, and it will not count towards the biking total. If you right click the trip and choose move activity, you can choose another activity to move it to.
